ILONA KARIV
Director,
Automated Lead Optimization
Ilona Kariv graduated from Pennsylvania State University with her Ph.D. in immunogenetics. After completing her postdoctoral training at Fox Chase Cancer Center and at SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals in cellular and molecular immunology, she joined Dupont Pharmaceuticals where she was involved in high throughput screening, miniaturization and lead optimization.
Dr. Kariv joined Merck in 2004 where she continues to focus on the areas of assay development and novel technologies adapted to screening and lead optimization processes.
