We are building a virtual laboratory, where we can work on what we perceive as the best science in drug development, whether conducted internally to MRL or externally."

Alzheimer's disease is Boston's second therapeutic area, after Oncology, and is one of Merck's priority therapeutic areas.  It is considered one of the top ten unmet medical needs in the world.
